Stald Mak was founded 1999 by Martin Schougaard a danish professionel rider. Martin has been competing in dressage and jumping at Grand Prix level. The last ten years Martin and his wife have been training dressage horses and jumping horses from youngster to grandprix level for jumpinghorses. For many years they have been educating horses for the US market concentrating on hunters and equitation horses.
Stald Mak is situated in the most beautiful part of Jutland surrounded by big woods and lakes. Close to the city Silkeborg . In these surroundings the horse can have a very variable traing and especially the young horses are trained a lot in the nature as we know that a healthy and happy horse is a great companion and a positive competing horse.
STALD MAK in door arena
The stable is placed right next to the largest equine hospital in Denmark. In cooperation with the equine hospital we follow the horses really close to keep them healthy and happy. At the farm we have 85 boxes, inside arena 20x60m, walker, treadmill, solarium/blowdryer and a lot of big paddocks for the horses to relax in.
The horses are always trained individually considering their special needs, age and level. Every year we get from 10 to 15 foals mainly holsteiner and danish warmblood lines. The babies are stabled in a open barn.
The yard is central placed in Jutland. The 4 largest airports (Billund,Tirstrup, Karup and Aalborg) are only around 45 min drive away. As a natural service to our customers we offer shuttle service to and from the airports.
We garantee our customers professionel guidance and quality horses with a top schooling and all of them good in the head. From youngster to grand Prix level we can get you your new superstar for jumping,hunter or equitation classes. | |
